I grew up in the artist colony in Los Angeles known as Topanga Canyon. Within this community, there lived musicians, actors, theater companies, and artists, lots of artist and my mother, Linda Comes, being among the most recognized. Needless to say, I grew up in her studio, and although I've had entertainment careers, painting has always been my passion. At first, I painted for fun and for free. Then I noticed that people would pay to make a painting for their dogs or some abstract glossy painting. Eventually, this fun little hobby turned into a wonderful career and purpose. I began to see the faces of viewers of my work become transformed, and just as I, they became curious, wanting to touch and feel the art. I feel very blessed having this purpose and the ability to create, very thankful to the people in my life then and now that help me along this spiritual world of discovery and ART.
